After 23 years with the Watertown Area Community Foundation, the executive director is retiring.
Jan DeBerg started with the foundation in 2000 at the Redlin Art Center in Watertown, where it had just a few quarters, reports KXLG.
"A lot has happened, including the exceptional growth of the Watertown Area Community Foundation," she said in a statement.
The foundation has provided more than $10 million in grants since its inception in 1979.
DeBerg will be replaced by current Development Director Cammie Mengwasser and Development Director Kristen Henderson.
